So heres my current situation. A year and a half ago I started twitching widespread. Like a lot of people on here i turned to dr. Google and flipped. I saw a bunch of neurologists and the head als specialist at cleveland clinic eric pioro and kept pushing for an emg. Eventually i had a clean emg of my right side and was told to get help for my anxiety. Well since January i havent had insurance i started seeing my calves and arms start to get skinny and ive had more constant twitches in my arms. I saw my pcp today and he agrees he sees the atrophy in my arms, as well as decreased reflexes. All through this process i was told i had a herniated disc pushing on a nerve a little towards the right side in my c6/c7 region. I have noticed that I have been having a lot of tingling in my upper back and shoulders which i know points away from als. I know nobody here is a doctor and i know there are actually people here with this disease. But im legitimately scared. Im 26 years old and have to have another emg done. Any kind words or advice? Heres a picture attached my arm over the past 7 months. I do have a physical job where i deliver beer and stuff every day.
