The biggest effect will be covid testing costs no longer being covered. People may wish to stock up on home tests. If you have Medicare you are allowed 8 a month from the pharmacy. I also got 4 from the government COVID.gov/tests - Free at-home COVID-19 tests Of course COVID tests expire so depending on your lifestyle you may not want many

telehealth coverage for medicare as we have been used to since COVID was due to expire a few months after the emergency but Congress extended it until the end of 2024. I am hoping it will become permanent

If your individual State has had a separate free test distribution program, it may be expiring as well since these had federal support. So if applicable, stock up from them, too.

If it turns out you don't need them (and the shelf life for most is longer than formerly), odds are, someone in your orbit will.
