I’ll start with my stats, I’m at 28M 190lbs and 6’00”

Active and workout a good amount, no familial hx

Of note, I’ve had an EMG for unrelated issue in 2019 which was “clean” that was on limbs

In the past 2-3 weeks I’ve had nasal regurgitation where I can “taste” liquids and food in my nose

Hands on both arms are weak at times hold phone and such, but mostly left (right hand dominant

No there is not any food or drinks coming out of my nose

Swallowing seems weird. Tough to initiate a swallow at times

Speech is normal, or at least no one has asked…

Tongue is normal… All tongues twitch when extended…

No twitching, at least not the ALS kind

That’s about it, it seems very suspicious for bulbar and not sure if I need to press doctor to accelerate visit.

When is your visit scheduled?

ALS does not present over weeks in all the respects that you have mentioned, and what you describe sounds more systemic than anything. So the odds seem very much in your favor.

Visit scheduled End of July how much work up are they going to need?
