Hi been 4/5 months now
Started with tremors slow and extreme fatigue
Moved on to muscle twitches random all over
Head feel like it’s heavey neck muscles seem extremely weak
Feel of balance wen walking and tired but have strength as normal
Mouth fatigue wen eating jaw neck and head get so tierd and weak tounge still moves fine
No slurred speech
Symptoms come and go but seem like there progressing wen they come back
Been doctors to many times think he’s sick of me calling him but it just feels so strange like nothing I’ve felt before
I’m worried over bulbar onset
Would the symptoms be there all the time and get worse or can they come go An progress over time (sorry to bother everyone just after some info thanks so much )

Also crazy head pain and the muscles in mouth r to weak to even be botherd to talk lately
Some shortness of breath sometimes also
Had full bloods thyroids all fine 🤷‍♂️

Sorry for your troubles. Doesn't sound like anything resembling MND, where no, symptoms do not come and go. I presume lung and heart problems have been checked for. Perhaps your GP could refer you to an infectious disease specialist to rule out an infection of some kind.

Best,
Laurie

Thank u so much for ur reply and time
The fatigue came out of nowhere
Wen I train in gym it gives me a unsteady off balance type feeling
Then my mind goes into over drive I have the tape measure constantly measuring one side to the other
Then loose control of my mind I dnt drink alchol but I can say I haven’t stopped drinking for 3 months now to try an forget about it major worries is neck mouth and head and slight pain all right side of body cramping lately but put that down to alchol and coffee
Thanks for reply I really do appreciate it

Well, continuous drinking won't help your coordination, balance or stamina. So if you can't get your mind out of overdrive, counseling could be your next stop.

I am trying counselling in next few weeks really hope it helps hands arms permanent shaking now aswell like a tremor have 2/3 good days then 2/3 bad days it’s like clock work strange but getting use to it now think yoga might help with the cramping I’m not sure thanks again for ur reply it does help a lot to speak to someone

Hi things have progressed a bit like a pain in right shoulder for no reason at all now injuries no pulled muscles
Strength seems to be ok for now
Wen go gym after gym have this fatigue like I’ve never had before like I need to go to bed or il fall over also mouth and neck getting very tierd wen eating food any help or advice please

My advice continues to be (1) reduce alcohol/caffeine under medical supervision and (2) seek counseling for your health anxiety. Your primary care doc can help on both counts.

It is not productive for you to continue to add symptoms to your posts. Keep a diary of your symptoms, drinking, coffee, food and sleep, and bring it to your counselor.

Thanks again for reply
Just an update of symptoms
Weak right arm from shoulder right to wrist fatigues very easy
Leg right side is weaker than left and pain by ankle wen walking really scared any advice as my doc thinks it’s in my head am scared

Hello-

Please read Laurie's advice above. And read the Important - READ BEFORE POSTING! Answers to common concerns about possible symptoms as many times as it takes to reassure yourself. When the folks here say your issues don't seem like they relate to ALS, it really means there's not much more the people here can do for you because this forum is for those with ALS and their caregivers and you don't report a pattern that says "ALS". That's great, but it does mean you need to keep working with your doctor and your counselor to sort out what's going on.

Please take care
