Hello! I am a 36 year old male. Unfortunately, English is not my native language, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes. I will be seeing a doctor in 48 hours, i have an appointment, but I am getting increasingly nervous. The first thing I noticed was that my fingers were shaking sideways. I also felt shaking in other parts of my body, such as my thighs and calves, but I did not see any twitching muscles or nerves. The pain appeared a few days after the first symptoms. My shoulder, fingers, wrist, and sometimes other parts of my arm also hurt. The evenings are especially bad: I woke up this morning to find that my wrists were almost burning. My legs also hurt, especially my feet. The latest is that when I close my fingers, if I do not squeeze them hard enough, my little finger "crawls away", and my hand also starts to hurt. The symptoms seem to increase with exertion, but this is not constant: sometimes lifting a small weight is painful, other times it is no problem. Thank you for your answers.

Hello-

Please make sure to read here: Read Before Posting. It explains why sensory issues (pain, burning) and tremoring point to something other than ALS. Your doctor will be able to provide you more information about what might be wrong after examining you.

Take care
