Hello, I've been dealing with muscle twitching mainly in my legs and bottom. I also have burning sensation in my quads and my right foot is cramped super bad. But I think what's most concerning to me is that my legs have hardly any strength. I feel unsteady on my feet and have so much weakness. I am not sure what to do. Does this sound like ALS to you?

Hello-

Please make sure to read the pinned post: Read Before Posting for answers to many of the questions that bring people here. Sensory issues are not associated with ALS/MND. A feeling of weakness is not quite the same as clinical weakness, which is something a doctor can help you figure out. The post above covers this, explains why twitching absent clinical weakness is not associated with ALS and makes a recommendation to visit with a doctor for an assessment first if you are concerned about your health.

Take care

Thanks for the response. Google is so confusing and all of the symptoms I have according to google is asl. I've been so worried. I appreciate you. My right foot is pins and needles and painful with zero strength. Again I appreciate you

Zero strength? So paralyzed? Can not move it at all? Even if so pins and needles are sensory and would point elsewhere

Hello-

Your doctor can help you with figuring out what is and what isn't clinical weakness or symptoms of concern. Please visit a doctor first.
