Hello everyone I’m a 37 yr old relatively health woman who recently developed some health issues. I started off with a pain and ringing in my ear that lead to some anxiety because I was worried of what it could be. I noticed one morning after my husband massaged my neck and lower back I began to have twitching all over my body and spasms that lead to muscle fatigue when walking. It’s been going on for a few weeks now I have seen a rheumatoid specialist that ruled autoimmune and seen a tele specialist neurologist that said since he did not see clinical weakness it my condition was not consistent with ALS. All labs have been normal besides an elevated b12. I have been to a chiropractor and he said my L5 was out and since them I can now feel nerve discomfort down the back muscle of legs. Does this sound like any experience anyone else has had? I’m sorry to ask I’m just scared and have a month to go before I get to see a neurologist in person.

Hello-

Make sure to read here: Read Before Posting to answer your questions. Between the link and what two specialists have told you, ALS is not on the table. Not sure what the trouble might be for you, but this is not how ALS starts.

I sincerely hope you will be able to believe the doctors re: ALS and also that your doctors will be able to work out what your symptoms are caused by.

Take care
