Gulf War Veteran. left side arm, hand, leg weakness. right side getting weak now. mayo clinic jan 2014 diagnosed spinocerebellum degeneration. drooling, difficulty in projecting voice, twitching mainly left bicep, home health care, with shower, dressing, and food prep. wheelchair bound. dropping things. hand grip lost. neurologist next week...again. any thoughts

A good part if not all could be related to the spinocerebellar degeneration. Is this a VA neuro? Either way, are they a general neuro or specialist? Have you not been seeing a neuro right along?

it sounds as if you are a complicated case medically. Whether some of this is MND may take time to figure out unfortunately. As you know too well some nasty things are happening to some Gulf vets and there may not be fast answers. Let us know how your visit goes. Bear in the back of your mind if your doctors can't figure things out after doing their tests there is a VA program or undiagnosed ( forget what it is called)
