- Learn about ALS
Thanks Nikki, i have spoken with my gp. He just wants to put me on antidepressants to help the anxiety in the meantime. I found them to really numb me and make me switch off from everything and everyone which isn’t good when you have a young family and a full time job to deal with. I’m still awaiting my appointment for nerve conduction, in the letter that was sent to me and my gp, the neurologist said that once the nerve conduction is completed I’ll be returned to my gps care. I thought this was a little dismissive of him as if he assumes all will be well. The one sided muscle loss is finally being noticed by my partner (i’m not just crazy) but he says it’s just a matter of waiting. So difficult and I’m not wishing this illness upon me, but in my heart I believe it’s what is wrong with me. I know there’s nothing i can do but await appointments, but I’m struggling sat in limbo. Thanks for replying despite your own problems Nikki. I’ll return once I’ve had nerve conduction with results.
