My 91 year old father is home w/my mother who has ALS. She is doing quite poorly.
Anyway, she wants to go to the bathroom EVERY TEN MINUTES!
I called her primary doc and asked if he could prescribe an antibiotic w/out seeing her, as it would be tough to get her in there. So he did. She's only been on it two days.
But my question is: Is this part of the disease?
I'm thinking she has a UTI, but maybe this is ALS-related?
