As I said I was just diagnosed. If I hadn’t gone to my original neurologist about footdrop in my other foot now, I never would have suspected ALS. I feel great, just having mobility issues. Is this typical at the start, feeling great????
 
Many of us feel fine. I remain surprised when my body doesn’t obey commands
 
JEM- sorry about you being here but, welcome! I don’t think anything is universal or normal with ALS. I’m glad you felt well early-on but have to say that I did not. The weakness and exhaustion was very bad. Maybe my breathing was weaker than yours. My walking was very unsteady with many falls. Enjoy your sense of well-being. If your doctor wants to test again I’d do it. Maybe there is some doubt!
