Thank y'all for your time, I do appreciate any responses. Approaching 50 and concerned about ALS.

Two main symptoms-

2 months so far of unrelenting twitching, no meds, don't drink caffeine, only stressed about this, all minerals/electorlytes checked
1-2 months of cramping

Both symptoms are progressing in intensity. Twitching started everywhere but settled mostly in legs and some in arms, still a few random back, butt, lips, etc. Twitches pretty strong now too compared to little bumpy ones at start. Look like the worms sometimes. Cramps getting stronger mostly in arms and legs. Nothing is in one area or one side. Also big time fatigue, like walking to mailbox or lifting glass.

No clinical weakness or atrophy.
MRI clean, neuro wasn't going to order EMG but I pressed due to worry. He said he doesn't think ALS based on exam and no weakness. EMG in a month. Still worried.

Opinions? No weakness no als? or does it sometimes start this way?

As you've read the Sticky, only one symptom: cramps.

Yeah, you're stretching this a bit...

Get the EMG, it'll put your mind at ease.
