Thank you. I didn't get the full report yet, but this is their statement:

"There were some mild abnormalities to the sural nerve and tibial nerves without any axonal loss - not enough to qualify as a neuropathy. Moderate L superficial fibular nerve mononeuropathy at the ankle. Overall benign EMG. No evidence of demyelinating process or lumbar radiculopathy. I believe his neurology appointment is soon, hope the findings can be addressed at appointment. "
 
Those mild abnormalities which the examiner apparently found unconcerning were on the nerve conduction section of the study according to this- not even the emg portion. Absolutely nothing to do with ALS. Follow up with your doctor as planned but nothing written there should make you worry at all
