Hello, I'm Brego 24 years old.

I'm so sorry to bother you but i'm really scared. I've read the sticker but didnt find a good answer to my question.

I've had twiches throughout my body for 2 years. No weakness no atrophy.

Howerver, i've noticed that my hands/fingers gets easily cold when im outside, even tho its not that cold.
When this happens my thumb seems to get stiffed and it gets harder to type on the phone. Once my hands/fingers gets warmer it goes back to normal mobility tho.

Would the first ALS signs only show up like this under cold conditions? Or would the signs still remain when my hands gets warmer ?

Have a lovely day!

A stiff thumb is not an ALS symptom “ stiffness” you read about is really spasticity which you are not describing. cold can tighten muscles and also worsen arthritis though you are young for the latter. I would think overuse syndrome rather than a fatal disease

Thanks for your answer!

Ok, i understand! No, i dont have any spasticity .

This decreased mobility in my thumb/fingers only happens when its cold. I'm guessing a "real als symptom" would'nt go away when hands are geting warmer..
