Hi - just wanted to check if anyone has benefited from a chiropractor to relief the symptoms and stiffness of MND
Many thanks

Hi gp - if the stiffness is from spasticity then massage and heat can help. if the joints are freezing due to this then a lot of care needs to be taken not to damage ligaments, but ROM done correctly can be very relieving too.
there are medications that can help, but you need massage and ROM too often to pay a chiro to do this really.
Some here may put chiros down, but my 2 sons have had life changing results on chronic back issues.

I was just trying to search and find the thread where I put YouTube links to how I used to massage Chris but I couldn't find it. If you go to my profile and then to my website you will find the links but I'm not allowed to directly link to my site in a thread sorry.
or search alsgardens dot net do au

Class. Thank you so much for your reply. The chiropractor has had experience in this previously. Anything is worth a go to help regain some balance and also help with dizziness

oh balance and dizziness, rather than stiffness? it could be an inner ear thing that can be helped a lot 😊

I would not see a chiro for balance issues/vertigo. Their perspective will likely be that it requires a spinal adjustment, which I doubt. Such adjustments can be harmful and delay treatment for a systemic or ENT issue.

Here at least, chiro's are fantastic at doing manipulations to treat vertigo. I don't know that it is right to presume what every one of them would do.

When I was having a bout with vertigo my physical therapist who is NCS trained (Neurological Clinical Specialist) was the one that manipulated me to reset my ear crystals. She also has showed my husband how to massage me and do proper ROM.
