Can ACV mode bring Bronchospasm, if used for long ?

Mom has been in the vent since mid February. For last 2 months or more, she has been in ACV mode. Earlier she was in V-SIMV & PACV modes.

For about a month or more, she has been experiencing Bronchospasm. She feels like having trouble breathing, but her 02 saturation remains mostly OK (90%+ most of the time ). And she becomes normal in 5-10 mins later. Often feels better, if we use the dolphin shaped vibrator on her back or do some massage.

Should I change vent mode to V-SIMV?
I mean, would V-SIMV solve the brnchospasm issue?

Not a single advice ? :-(

I've changed it to V-SIMV mode myself.
Our pulmonologist visited us later & didn't object. The bronchospasm seems to have reduced a bit,
but we r now suspecting it to be due to gas formation in stomach. Mom has irregularities in bowel movement and often has pain in lower abdomen.
