How fast does bulbar *** progress? Does it generally start with slurred speech? I have no tongue weakness and am not slurring words. I am a little worried because I’m getting a lump in my throat or feel like food is stuck after a hour or so after I eat. I can’t seem to swallow it down and it get worse the more I swallow.

About Myself:
-Twitching nonstop for 35 months
-No choking and can drink water fast
-No real weakness
-Not sure is a lump feeling in throat is trouble swallowing or not

Have you read the Read Before Posting link?

The first place to go is to your doctor if you feel there is a change in function. An examination can provide a lot more information to you than speculation. Please make sure to read the above link carefully, as it answers many of the questions people come here to ask. Twitching and sensations such as you report, as you will read, are not something that would make a doctor concerned. The lump feeling is called globus sensation and is not considered a sign of ALS.

that link is really the place to read very carefully.
What you are describing is not generally how bulbar ALS starts.
