Been having swallowing issues for over a year and half, followed by widespread muscle twitches. Over the past 5 mo the iv had slurred speach, difficulty manoeuvring tongue and now hoarse voice is coming in. Got a neuro appointment on the 15th march, and asked to speak to the doctor about a ENT appointment too to rule anything out that side. Not choking on food just doesn't go down properly and generally have to drink with food to help ease it down. Few comments now and again from other people regards speach when voice breaks or struggle with a random word. Staying hopeful.

Here's your last thread: Bulbar Symptoms.

As stated in the last thread, there's really nothing this forum can provide you til you've seen the neurologist. They can examine you and assess for any neuro issues. It sounds like you're doing the right thing by continuing to work with your doctors. This forum can't do anything more for you except direct you to the "Read Before Posting" link and encourage you to keep communicating with your doctors.

Your neuro is a few weeks off, so you will get some more info and reassurance then about what might be the issue. Please let us know how it goes.

Take care

Do let us know.
I hope this will finally give you some answers you will accept. 10 years of fearing you have ALS is a long time.

It is best not to post again now until you give us the results of your neuro appointment. All the best.
