Rick, re-read my reply above. You didn't answer that consideration but jumped right back
to your non ALS symptoms. Maybe denial when it comes to that.

Maybe not getting appointments is that they see no matters of urgency.

Until you do have a swallow test, seen by a neurologist... there is no reason to post again.
If anything for your own mental health and the efforts of members here.

The main thing is that some of us have asked you specific questions (I know I have) and you have ignored them and just post back about fears you have.
We really can't support you this way.
If you are this scared, get another appointment with your GP and discuss your fears in detail and get help.
I truly wish you the best, but nothing will take the place of medical help.
