I don't usually post about cash DME sales, obviously, but for anyone needing a starter/backup BiPAP, masks, etc. RespShop has a nice CyberMonday sale going on today. SecondWind has some good options as well. Note that these machines will not be portable with batteries, only for somewhere with AC power.
There is a lot of variability/reputation in cash pricing, so that is why I am recommending those two, specifically. Cpap.com is always a good site for masks and other supplies, but they don't have any BiPAPs listed in stock at the moment that I would favor for ALS. The other two do.
Reminder: always make sure there is a "backup rate" (ST) feature, as well as automatic volume control, which will generally be denoted by AVAPS, EVAPS, VAPS, or iVAPS. And of course, you want a heated humidifier, which can sometimes be purchased separately if necessary. I am always happy to help.
