Good morning all,
My mom just got her bipap 2 days ago and wore it all night last night. She now says she is MORE breathless than she was yesterday. Is this normal? Is it just a part of getting used to the device? I just want to give her some other people's experiences if possible.

Thanks for any help!

There are quite a few settings on the Bipap and perhaps something isnt adjusted just right---should let her doc or therapist know and try and troubleshoot this....
good luck! Beth

I'd be calling the Respiratory Tech or Pulmonologist too. Sounds like a bad setting or possible anxiety about the whole process.
