Well, not exactally. I was stung a week ago today in the arm, it still itches and is red with hundreds of little bumps. I am taking Benadryl since yesterday. Looking up treatments for YJ stings, I found these symptoms:

- Difficulty swallowing

- Slurred speech

- Wheezing or difficulty breathing

- Confusion or jumbled thoughts

- Tightness in the throat or chest

- Coughing or hoarseness

- Weakness leading to fainting

Almost sounds like the ALS symptoms!

Cute. I got stung by one of those a few years ago and my entire arm went numb. They are nasty little buggers. Make good honey, though.

Thanks Cindy, I was last stung on 8/2 and finally went to urgent care 2 days ago. I might be getting marginally better now, but its bad enough getting weaker and twitching, is simply AWFUL getting weaker, twitching, and itching! And these Yellow Jackets had no honey, it was an easy extraction for the bug guy we called...
