I thought I would put this on the forum page in case anyone was interested.
Details are on ALS Ontario web page.
Let's see if we can raise the bar on this once in a life time opportunity.
JOIN US AT THE BALL GAME
On July 20th 2006, enjoy an evening of baseball as the Toronto Blue Jays take on the New York Yankees and support the ALS Society of Ontario. Seats have been reserved at great rates for this awareness and fundraising event. Win a chance to throw the first pitch online through the ALS auction. Other prizes include Blue Jay and Yankee signed memorabillia, a private box for the game and a trip to New York for a Yankees game. To order tickets in support of the ALS Society of Ontario, call Ryan Goldsilver, Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club at 416-341-1304. A portion of all ticket prices are donated back to the ALS Society of Ontario.
As of June 27, 2006, the highest bid for the "First Pitch Auction" is $100
