Hi Guys, sorry I have some more questions. Nights have become a nightmare. My mom dreads going to bed at night, as she can no longer lie down. She has been like this a while and sleeps with 5 pillows so her head is almost upright, but lately its gotten worse. She has to sit on the bed and then fall back onto the pillows, her breathing becomes a real struggle then, and a lot of times now its like a panic attack and i have to pull her back into a sitting up position. This can go on for up to an hour some nights. We did get a hospital bed but she wont get into it, its so high she cant get her legs in it. She gets up to use the toilet during the night, and falls asleep everytime sitting on the lavatory, its freezing here during the night, and Im terrified she'll catch pneumonia. I wake a few times a night and find her in the bathroom, but sometimes she could be there an hour before I wake a realise shes not in her room?
Does anyone else have problems lying down? What is the solution?
Also she is falling asleep while sitting up just talking or eating dinner her eyes close. Sometimes she's talking complete nonesense, and say things so out of character, its very strange?
