Aw shucks, we forgot!

One of my teenaged daughters works for a catering company and went in last week to work an event for several groups of Alzheimer's patients and healthcare workers. The event was planned for 100 people, but ended up being about half that because staff workers at more than one of the clinics..... wait for it.... wait for it... FORGOT about the event!
You can't make this stuff up!

That's funny and sad at the same time! Mostly funny. I imagine the guests that didn't get to go forgot about it too.
