My beautiful, brave mum passed away at home yesterday morning.
I will miss her more than anything, but thank God this is over.
She can now sleep peacefully and I am comforted in the thought that she is free of a life of MND.
Thank you to everyone here who has helped make these last few weeks a little easier for me. I really do appreciate all the comments and support that I received along the way.

Be Brave.
Weavie xx

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful mum, but like you I know that watching them suffer is the worst torture and now she is flying free.

Sincere wishes of peace to you and your father as you move through this stage of the grieving

Thank you everyone for your kind messages of support. This has been the hardest week of my life. I am so sad to have lost my mum and can't believe I will never see her again. We had a lovely memorial service for her yesterday, she would have loved it.
I'm not sure how I am going to manage the days and weeks to come.
Mum and I were best friends. I will miss her every day of my life.

I would like to post a photo of me and mum, but I don't know how to do it.

>I would like to post a photo of me and mum, but I don't know how to do it

click the Go Advanced button, go down to Manage attachments, select photo, don't forget to Upload, then post message -- or email it to me at [email protected] or [email protected] and I'll post it for you :)

I'm glad the memorial went beautifully, and I hope it helps you and your dad just a little.

To follow Max instructions, first click on the REPLY button.

Click the Go advanced button, then scroll down the page a little.
Under the box where you type your reply is trackback, then the smilie icons, then the button you normally click to submit the post.

Keep scrolling into the Additional options area.
At the attach files section click on manage attachments.

It's so easy once you've done it, but it sounds more complicated when typing the instructions!

Of course emailing Max is easier by far ;)
