I was honored to be selected for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Anyone’s Life Story program for ALS awareness month.

Each day for the month of May the MDA ALS website will have a banner telling you about someone with ALS. I encourage you to click the link everyday in the month of May. (http://www.als-mda.org/)

I really encourage you to check it on May eighth. That is my day:

You can preview my page here: http://www.als-mda.org/anyone/May_8.html

Hey Jim- good news. I like the concept and can't wair for Thursday. :-D

Thank you for the link. I noticed that the woman featured for Sunday stated her father, grandfather, and only sibling, were all diagnosed with ALS, yet she did not have the SOD 1 gene. Considering the obvious genetic history in her family, I suppose scientists will eventually find other genes that predict ALS.
