With regards to recovery from ALS- Dr R Bedlack, has looked into this and documented the few folk who have experienced what appears to be a reversal. If you search online for "ALS reversals" and Dr Bedlack's name, or the "R.O.A.R. program", you will see what has been studied.
Shiftkicker directed you to the most reliable source of validated recoveries. If you search online you will find people claiming recovery but generally it will obvious they have a financial agenda. aLS plateaus are fairly common and temporary partial reversals ( improvements) not unknown. We have no regular members here who have claimed recovery.
