I've been reading these posts for information and support, but have never officially posted. I didn't get the chance. My MIL was diagnosed with ALS in July after having over a year of symptoms. Mom passed away Tuesday morning. There is a hole in the family without her.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I recently lost my MIL, too. And it does leave a big hole. I hope that you all will find peace in knowing that she's free from ALS.
