Reading Eric is Winning (scam) alerted me to this theory. Then I met with my dentist who said he would work with me on removing the fillings, IF I INSISTED. However, he suggested I check the website of "Quackwatch.com" or .org (I forget which).
There are quite a few topics so look thoroughly for the dental part and read the articles. I think you will have a better feel if this should be your approach.
