Hi Friends,

While on vacation in Ca., my sister-in-law, who has always had TMJ problems, made an appt. with her TMJ dentist to see my husband who has PBP. He told him that he is treating another man with serious Parkinson's symptoms and has helped him by evening out his bite so that cranial nerves don't get inflamed by constant stress in the jaw.

We're going to see an associate dentist of this guy's near where we live in Pa. next week. The man charges $450 for the 1st consult of 1 hour, and more for any supplements sold or treatments rendered during that time. I don't know if this will be covered by our insurance. I'm willing to try anything that makes sense, but I'm worried about rip-offs and false hope. Does this sound reasonable or fishy? I know that others have also suggested accupuncture treatments. Thanks, Letty
