Hello Again..
So I had additional follow up in April 2017 with neuromuscular specialist who performed another full work up including EMG and NCV. Was given confirm at that time that what ever is causing my symptoms, fasics in legs and arms and feet, pain in hips and arches, extreme stiffness and muscles that fatigue super easily with everyday activities, is not ALS. My question is in regards to timing of an EMG. If I have had these symptoms for what now is over 2 years and gotten clean reports from neuro doctors since the start of the symptoms then my focus should be elsewhere yes? In other words the emg can not be done too early or anything like that. Seem to think I have read it both ways. Anyway, I am just hoping for some feedback on that.. trying to re close a door I thought I had closed as to this ALS fear. Something is definitely amiss with me but to date I have not been able to find any answers with pcp, neuro, and endocrin and I continue to feel worse and worse. Any info as to the EMG question would be great. Thank you.
