No, nothing sounds like ALS. The symmetry, pain etc point away from als.

Several things you have mentioned..cold hands and feet, brain fog, point towards a more systemic issue like thyroid problems.
My neck cracks all the time but if you are having pain with it you should see your doctor.

Are you getting enough sleep, staying well hydrated with water, eating a high quality diet, exercise daily, and minimal caffeine? I would start with these and if you dont have improvement then check in with your doctor.

Is this ALS??? I am very scary....please aswer my post

Hello, I have posted a message last week and received an answer, thank you for that, but I'm still worried again. In recent years I have visited neurologists and rheumatologists in connection with various complaints in which MS and heavy rheumatic diseases have been excluded with mri and blood tests.
The reason I am worried is that as soon as I move, I have muscle spasms and twitching, especially in bed but also during the day when I do something. As soon as I move, I have these ..... especially in the legs, arms, hips, back etc. Also get sometimes burning sensations in muscles....
Because I also have dysphagia and therefore the food more difficult to sink, and also feel muscle weakness especially in legs but also in my arms I have a parent feeling. My thighs and arms have become thinner, everything goes very slowly. I have an appointment therefore at a neuro and get an EMG in 2 weeks ..... does this have to do with ALS? I am 44 years old

Forum rules require you to stay in one open thread.

Please post in this one.

Please refrain from posting until you've had an EMG and have received the results.

In the meantime please educate yourself by reading the Sticky Post titled Read Before Posting. :)

Oke but can you please only for once put this on the forum? I am really afraid.....i understand that i have to wait till the Emg but please......then i will stop...thanks!

??? It's on the forum and visible to all.

But you've already been answered And you've nothing new.

So wait! As requested.

I'm not sure what you think the members here can do for you. The EMG is the gold standard for diagnosing ALS. You will get the answers you need from the doctor after your emg. Please do not demand more from people here if you have been asked to wait for your emg.

The thing about ALS is it's a whole spectrum of symptoms that could also mean any number of other issues. Specialists assess the reported symptoms, conduct clinical testing of reflexes, etc and base their decision on their objective findings and the results of various tests, including blood, MRI, EMG, etc. It's simply not possible for people here to help you diagnose yourself.

I understand your answer......butt i only want to now if the signs ate recognizable? I now i will have to wait and you aren’t doctors.....

I agree with Gooseberry. I don't see any ALS in your post.

Rogers...some of these people here know more than your typical doctor about ALS. They have lived it. They have helped so many of us here in so many ways. Don't be disrespectful to them. I understand your afraid but they have told to to wait for the EMG.

Hello,

in my opinion I have also remained respectful....ben i will wait for the emg. Thanks.....

Mod Note:

This is unnecessary. And this thread has run it's course. You've been told that this does NOT seem to be ALS.

Roger, go for the EMG If for no reason other than to set your mind at ease.

But I strongly recommend that you see someone about possible Health Anxiety. That's something we cannot address.

Again, good luck!
