Hi, I made a post maybe 4-5 months ago about me having fasciculations. 4 months later I am still having them. They are body wide, come and go and only last for a few seconds. It can jump from part of my body day to day, like one day my thumb, then my ankle, face, then maybe repeat the pattern again. I have talked to 2 doctors about this, actually 3 including an orthopedic doctor. They all tested me for weakness and I had none, the most recent weakness test was on Monday by the orthopedic specialist. I didn't mention ALS to the orthopedic doctor but one of the reasons I was there was because of the fasciculations and neck pain I had been having. Turns out the neck pain which has been happening for maybe 2-3 months maybe was from a muscle spasm they believe. I am taking physical therapy to take care of that right now. Also he gave me some meloxicam for it. The other two doctors I saw both did tests on me, one a PA-C(4 or 5 months ago) and the other an MD(1-2 months ago) said they did not think I had ALS. I also asked my MD what he thought was causing them, and he said he didn't know. I had blood drawn and I did not have a magnesium deficiency. Also, my physical therapist did a weakness test on me, which was on Wednesday and I had no weakness. I am still very concerned on what could be causing me to have these fasciculations, my biggest worry is that I could have ALS. I am very sorry for making a 2nd post about this, but my mind is very worried about what has been happening to my body for these past few months.
