Ok, so my brother is back in the nursing home from the hospital. I've been looking at
all the adaptive type things we can use, but it's kinda confusing in total.

He has a computer, and an onscreen keyboard. We're working on getting the text
to speech part going, as well as a better mouse or mouse alternative....

He has an electric bed he can adjust, if he had more dexterity. He can only move his
left hand a little. And of course his head.

He has a tv with a remote control, don't know if there is an alternative for that.

Part of the problem is, if we rest his hand on his mouse, he can't lift it up to reach
anything else, like tv remote or call button.

Any suggestions? I'm looking on joelc's website as well.

Hi, for my husband to use the laptop which we have on an over the bed table, at the bed head is a long flexible tube with a 10-12 cm appendage with a little ball on it. He moves his head against this and this performs the mouse click function. At the bottom of the bed we have this adjustable arm screwed to the end and a little screen is fixed to it. Shane only has to move his big toe across this slightly to make the mouse movement. So between the head movement and the toe movement he can perform the functons of the mouse.

Thanks

Chris
