Thank you. I will. I've been hoping for a long time it was something other than ALS, but I've accepted it now. He has actually had symptoms since 2003 while he was in Iraq. The atrophy in his right arm was very noticeable by May of 2005. We dealt with the VA doctors for awhile trying to get a diagnosis and I finally took him to a local neuro this August since we were not getting anywhere with the VA. With all the tests they have run they have pretty much ruled out everything else, including MMN. Our neuro is very good and he actually trained at the ALS clinic in Dallas so that is why he referred him there for confirmation and also so we can talk to physical and occupational therapists and whoever else.
