Well, it was a rainy day at Arlington.

Maybe fitting.

Maybe a bad hair day.

Lets remember those Honor Guard men and women
who stood in the rain… standing at the Position of
Attention for over an hour… soaking wet.

Maybe the rain drops were for those who gave all.

For those who gave all… let’s also give gratitude
to the Honor Guard including the Band honoring
them. No, it wasn't their day but... they will be
veterans someday.

Today I remember all my Vietnam buddies who have
since passed after coming home. Too many.

Indeed, Al, indeed. I grew up an army brat, and my Dad was stationed at the Pentagon several times. We visited Arlington many times. Hallowed ground that everyone should visit.

As a kid I was always In awe of the Honor Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I still get goosebumps remembering their amazing precision and dedication.

Not being a veteran myself Al, I very much appreciate you sharing this beautiful tribute here, and very much appreciate your service/sacrifice. Thank you...Jon

My Dad and brother served. The first time I went to Arlington I was 22. I'll never forget it.
Al, thank you for your service.
