I'm a nearly 40 year old man father of two angels. I've been visiting this site for 3 weeks. I was diagnosed with a condition that caused atrophy in my upper right region, so far, plus pain and fascs basically everywhere in August of this year. I'm still being tested because my issues seem to be spreading... This of course causes big time fear so I came to this site to find knowledge of people going through the same things I am.
I'm taken back by all of the PALS on this site who take their time to address questions from people like me. The constant "what is this?", "what is that?", etc. that accompany nerve and muscle phenomena. Here you are diagnosed with ALS and you still take the time to listen to us whine and fret. It really is breath taking to me.
You are true warriors who care for others.
