Lots of people twitch, you have no clinical weakness. If you had ALS you would have had other symptoms that would have been picked up by your neurologist. Your doctors are the only ones who can diagnose clinical weakness it's not your legs feeling rubbery, it's not being able to do something. If your anxiety treatment is not working then let your doctor know as you may need a bit more help with that.

I think being here is just fuelling your fears, try to stay away from this site and avoid internet self diagnoses, work with your doctors regarding your symptoms.
I am trying to find the kindest way of getting you to realise that you are causing yourself problems.

If you were diabetic sugary foods would be harmful and you would try to avoid them.
If you have health anxiety web sites and forums that focus on serious illness are harmful and you should try to avoid them.

I wish you luck
Wendy

Thanks Wendy. I agree with you when this all started I had an isolated twitch in my deltoid for 5 days. I feel like after looking up twitching coming here it's just constant I am always worrying. I got diagnosed with Hashimotos of the thyroid and I'm on synthroid now it's controlled since then I'm constantly worrying. Hopefully this anxiety medicine will start to work soon. I appreciate the response

Just a conclusion to this post. Thanks everyone for the replies and advice. Today I saw an ALS specialist through the Cleveland Clinic told him all my concerns. I passed his neurological exam only thing he said was I had slight brisk reflexes. He told me if he sent me for a EMG it would be more then likely be normal he told me to stop worrying about the twitching that I'd have something pop out that shows if investigating was needed. So I am going to just try and forget about it and just deal with it.
