Been to 3 Doctors. 2 EMGs No one is giving me Clear Answers
It started almost a year when I started feeling weakness in my right hand. Made a visit to my PCP where she didn't see anything wrong. 5 months after I started showing Atrophy in my right hand and twitching in my right bicep and shoulders. I have more twitching all over my back both shoulders and biceps. No Lower Body twitching at all. I still use my right hand to do 5lb bicep curls and to hold my cell phone, I can lift my right arm it just feel heavier.
My most recent doctor said I should go to a ALS center due to the weakness in my right hand and the upper body muscle Twitching.
My cervical spine showed a minimal disc buldge C5-6
Here's my recent exams. Any feedback would be great due to the facts I have to wait till October to get an appointment
INDICATIONS Weakness of both upper extremities. Muscle twitching. IMPRESSION: This is an abnormal study. There is electrophysiologic evidence of severe sub-acute right motor predominant neuropathy, worst in C8-T1 myotomes, but affecting C5-7 myotomes as well. There is also evidence of diffuse fasciculations and increased insertional activity in bilateral upper extremities and thoracic paraspinals.
