Hey guys- just looking for opinions..there will be a lot of details. I'm a 33 year old in shape guy..in March I started cutting calories and doing fairly intense cardio and eating a lot of shrimp for 35 days straight and not taking vitamins (stupidly), hurt my back putting a random wagon in the garage woke up with numb shoulder, then my pec and shoulder twitch for two hours which isn't a big deal..the numbness of the shoulder goes away and instantly boom I have a funny feeling in my hands, like a weird sensory issue..basically like it feels when someone touches a scar on you.
That feeling lasted for two weeks, then in the middle of the night I'm woken up with a rush from my brain down my spine and instant twitching all over and my face also, woke up in a complete fog and basically have been in a fog since and woke up with a right hand tremor which hasn't left ...went for an emg of right arm within a week because it felt funny and my fingers felt a little weird, that was completely normal..since then I've had small fascilitations shoulders, triceps, calves mostly which are mostly at the joint..and intermittent tingling of both legs which started as a twinge in my right calf..i have cramping in my hand talking on the phone and have noticed a major circulation change in my body and my wrists and feet feel a little off, no actual weakness, just fatigue and maybe perceived weakness,
I've lost a little weight also and my blood work came back a little funky with my ferritin being in the mid 2's but my ck was normal. I have been seen by a neurologist and an ALS specialist who examined me quickly and asked me about numbness and tingling which I denied. I am hyperreflexive in both legs everything else is normal. Going for follow up emg next month and MRI l-spine. What do you all think? (Sorry about my huge run on)
