Hello there,
First of all i would like to introduce myself, My name is Reece and im 26 years old and i'm from the united kingdom
I Have had very strange symptoms for approximately 6 months the most common being extremely fatigued and muscle twitching all over my body. I also know that the chances of me having ALS is extremely low.
I got referred to a neurologist who ordered an emg which sadly came back showing a "mild proximal myopathy"and that adult onset pompe disease should be looked at. i have now been referred to a specialist who deals with this kind of stuff exclusively. My main problem is the twitching throughout my body i have read throughout that myopathy usually doesn't result in fasciculations.
Would anyone who is experienced be kind enough to look into my emg?
Whatever happens i'm glad i have read so much about this truly awful disease and will be supporting charities going forward.
God bless you all
