Hello everyone,
I am a 25 year old who has been experience general weakness/muscle fatigue since March, I have also had fasciculations and spasms all over my body for around 4 months alongside fasciculations and strange electric shock like sensations in my tongue for around 3 months. I also have been struggling to swallow food sometimes but I'm not actually cooking on it, it's more like the food is just getting a bit stuck on the way down.
I have just looked at my tongue and it looks to me as if some of it has wasted away on one side and now I'm really scared.
Would anyone be able to confirm if this is the case or not please to maybe put my mind at ease as I cannot stop worrying. I have included some pictures below.
I would also like to note that I do suffer from health anxiety which I am seeing a therapist for and I also have an appointment with a neurologist in January.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and for any comments you may have.
