Hi I’m 24 M, I’ve began to have some concerning symptoms. First it started with twitching in my left bicep then progressed to legs and full body twitching all throughout body within a few weeks. The most annoying twitch currently is at the bottom of my right foot. I can feel and see twitches in my back, arm, thigh and calf on both legs. I have gone to two nueros now the first one was very dismissive and only got to speak with her for a minute. The second one listened more.she didn’t notice and weakness but did see I had a little facial droop going on and didn’t have a lot of control of my left cheek compared to my right, I’m a little concerned about the emg test. She did it in the office on the first visit. The nerve conduction study was good showing that I’m close to carpel tunnel. The emg was only about 5-10 minutes. She stuck the needle in each major muscle 2 times. The only thing I’m a little concerned about is that like it didn’t seem like she was collecting data to make a report. She was just looking at the static and saying everything looks fine. Is thst how it usually goes for a emg, cause I’ve seen a bunch of people with elaborate reports and images. Just want to make sure I didn’t get shorted on my emg. It just didn’t feel official.

Everything is pretty much automated and your experience sounds utterly normal. If your emg was fine she may not have saved images of waveforms but if she wanted to it just takes a press of the button. The images you see aren’t usually necessary for the ordering doctor to see I think mostly people add them because they do look impressive
