2 new Idea's I have

Hi everyone.. Haven't been around for awhile.. Has not been a good year around here.. Mom is still with us.. but is coming to a end with the fight with ALS.. I have organized two golf tournaments here in the Ottawa area in the past which was hugely successful.. But this time around I have 2 new quests in which I am going to try.. Thinking of putting a recipe book together from recipes from our ALS families.. and also writing a article for hopefully with Reader's Digest.. So those are the two quests I am working with this year.. If anyone has any recipes that they would like to contribute, please send them to [email protected]

I'm too am very sorry to hear that your Mom is not doing well, it must be incredibly difficult to be in your situation.

I think your ideas are wonderful....and I have an original recipe that I'll be e-mailing to you! On a side note, when you organized your golf outings, did the country club and/or green donate the playing time, or did participants have to pay as they normally would to play golf and then also donate to an ALS cause?

Hi Susann.. When I did my golf tourny's the golf clubs charger their fee's.. and then I added 20 -30 dollars more on it.. So I paid for it that way.. So after it was all done... But I included their meals in the tickets.. So I made about $15 - $20 a golfer.. But another way to get all the families out with the golfer at dinner time.. I charged $10 more on the dinners.. and got a band to play after the tournament.. Plus silent auctions. My first tournament made $4000 on a par 3 course.. and my second made $8500 on a regulation course..Good luck with yours..
