Hello Again Folks,
I just wanted to let the helpful members know that I am waiting to hear on a possible genetic link to CMT. My elderly father met with his doctor and apparently was informed that he had a variation of CMT that could have been passed down to me. I have a call in to his doctor and I'm anxiously waiting for the return call that has been a long time coming. Earlier today my right quad was twitching so much it was making my jeans jump. I feel occasional burning around my knees, twitching all over (mostly legs and occasional arms). My legs tire faster than they should and they don't feel strong (especially my right quad area). Anxiety gets the better of me at times as I learn to navigate this. It ain't easy. Does anyone know anything about the similarity between ALS and multi focal motor neuropathy? Is that something I should be looking into? It's so hard to just "watch and wait". I think some people are capable of doing this better than others! Thoughts and gratitude out to you all.
