Hi there I am a first time poster but a long time lurker. I have finally gotten up the courage to join you. Concerned about ALS (long!)

Hi: I am a 29 year old male, non-smoker, occasional drinker. Excellent health until my symptoms flared up. Last thanksgiving, I woke up with an intense neck pain, exacerbated by moving my head. Symptoms resolved within a week. Now fast forward to mid-May. I started experiencing tingling...

I just found out my Mom has ALS

I just found out that my Mom has ALS a few days ago. I am having a difficult time accepting the idea. I have know for many months that my Mom has had speech problems. She has been visiting many different homeopathic doctors who have been working to get the toxins out of her body. My thought...

    Clicking joints

I noticed that most of my major jonts are "clicking" now when moved. I am wondering, is physical therapy may be helpful in this case ? If yes, should I limit myself to the range of movement exercises, or go for the strengthening exercises, too ?
