We went to clinic today and heard positive things. Doctor said Brian will walk for a long time. A long time in ALS terms no doubt but still good news. Progression almost non existent from last time. Progression overall slow average and not likely to get fast. Good and more good.
We got hooked...
My daughter went back home today so this is my first day truly alone. I am trying to look at this as the beginning of a new life rather than an ending. Doing OK so far. Got Tom's ashes back from the mortuary yesterday and rather than being difficult as I though it would be, it brought a feeling...
Hi,
Last August 2015 I experienced things happening in my spine and in March 2014 I was diagnosed with Dermyotomositis. I went into the hospital and had a rash and they treated for DM. Jan 2016 comes around being on sort of drugs but there was no conclusive evidence that I had DM. Normal blood...
My journey began nearly 30 years ago, when I woke up one morning and couldn't walk. I previously had a bullseye tick bite, and assumed Lyme disease. Every test taken since has been negative. I had symptoms come and go for many years, with exhaustion, stiffness, and leg weakness being my main...

Tom passed away yesterday evening. He passed peacefully in his favorite lounge chair. Though I will miss him dearly I am grateful that the Lord saw fit to take him before he suffered the worst ravages of ALS. Thank you all for your support these last few months
