Haven't posted in over a month. Just wanted to say, finally saw the neuro-muscular specialist, he conducted a nerve conduction and emg and clinical stuff...and it turns out I do not have MND.
I've had atrophy, weakness, fascic's, spasticity, over-active reflexes, swallowing difficulties, etc...
any other people experience this...
this is increasing in frequency. it pops/cracks all the time now. sometimes really loud, it feels like the largest pop/crack I've ever felt right in the middle of the chest. it's scary because it's unpredictable now. i just lean back to look at something and...
not really that informative. but still...
I hope this disease is slowed down SOON. The brief clips with the Dr. seems encouraging.

I've had this problem for about 4 months now... every morning I wake up my arms are completely numb... anyone else experience this?
I guess I can add this to pools of drool on my pillow every morning too... and the new one: choking! (this occurs at any time during sleep. luckily it has only...
a feeling like your lung or the muscle around your lung is going? it's worse when I sit, it feels like it/my side caving in. I have the same feeling right behind my arm on my back, under the shoulder, like the muscle is going - it's so uncomfortable to lift my arm. I get that same feeling in my...

for one, my tongue: the back part looks like it's torn to shreds (the surface) with like dotted rips (hard to explain, pic needed...not actual "rips" but rips in the colouration) - I noticed...
lately I've been choking on my own saliva and phlegm - having to clear my throat every 5 minutes - it just sits there, like it's molasses in my throat, won't go down unless I force it - the muscles don't seem to want to do that as quickly... even swallowing won't clear it, until I clear it...
excuse me if this seems jumbled, I'm going on like 3 hours of sleep, as I could barely close my eyes last night in fear and anticipation of this appointment. ha.
I finally went and saw the Neuro today (Ottawa).
She specializes in migraine headaches, so was kind of worried about how much she'd...
