    stairs

    some nights i can make it up the stairs, others not. i'd like to not break my neck. anything (e.g. mountain climbing gear) i could use to prevent, or limit, falling? (arms worse than legs)

    Heart rate (pulse)

    I'm in my 4th year with ALS. Still walking short distances. Recently I've noticed that my resting heart rate is often in the high 90s. A couple years ago, normal resting pulse for me was 72. I don't think I'm high enough to call it "tachycardia", and maybe its just a reflection of my decline...
